The team provides the Nation with a financial planning function through the annual budgeting process. Throughout the year, we also meet regularly with Nexwsxwníw̓ntm ta Úxwumixw (Council) and senior leadership to review and identify areas for financial improvement.

Sḵwx̱wú7mesh People United: The Significance of Amalgamation Day
On July 23rd, 1923, believing they were stronger together, 412 People represented by 16 headmen from about two dozen Sḵwx̱wú7mesh villages came together to form the modern-day Squamish Nation.
