The Membership team registers births, deaths, marriages, and other amendments with Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) and the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw Band Census. The team also maintains Members’ addresses and voter list information.

The Membership team receives and processes completed Membership applications for review by the Membership Committee, administers per capita payments (Distribution) three times per year (SN Trust cheque distributions occur once per year), and establishes trust accounts for minor children. Direct deposit is available to Members residing in Canada and the United States.

The team also provides statistical information to other departments and issues blood quantum letters for Members seeking employment in the United States.
