Income Assistance
COMMUNITY NOTICE MARCH 17-21:
The Income Assistance office will be closed for maintenance this week. Staff will be working from the Hiy̓ám̓ Housing classroom behind the building to assist clients (336 4th St W, North Vancouver). Income Assistant clients, please use the ramp side entrance.

The Income Assistance team is tasked with the efficient administration of the Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) Income Assistance program. This program offers financial support to eligible on-reserve adults and their dependents who are unable to meet their basic needs, which may encompass covering the costs of essentials like food, clothing, as well as rent and utilities allowances.
The team assists Members living on-reserve to:
- Maintain a basic standard of living.
- Prevent dependency by developing individual and family strengths.
- Assist recipients to access services that will enhance their ability to assume primary responsibility for their own affairs.

ʔəy̓alməxʷ/Iy̓álmexw/Jericho Lands Official Plan Approved
Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), as part of the MST Partnership (Musqueam Indian Band, Squamish Nation and Tsleil-Waututh Nation) and Canada Lands Company (MST-CLC) is thrilled to share that late today, Vancouver City Council unanimously approved the ʔəy̓alməxʷ/Iy̓álmexw/Jericho Lands Official Development Plan.
