In partnership with NVSD 44, we provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for our youth (ages 16 – 19). This program serves as an excellent alternative for those who need extra encouragement to return to school and complete their high school education. Students work at their own pace, with personalized instruction. Most students strive to achieve their high school Dogwood Diploma (Grade 12). To enroll in this program, all students must register through NVSD.

Adult students (aged 19 and older) can enter this full-day program encompassing essential skills, computer proficiency, Squamish culture, and the five required courses in order to receive the Adult Dogwood diploma. This marks the initial educational step to guide students toward post-secondary education or full-time employment. The program also offers English and Math upgrading opportunities.

In partnership with Capilano University and driven by cultural integration, the team has crafted a unique adult literacy program. Our aim is to enhance students’ math and literacy skills to a level that ensures success in various training programs, facilitates employment opportunities, and/or transitions them into our Adult Dogwood program to earn their diploma. This program equips learners with essential skills that boost their self-confidence and self-sufficiency.
