Capilano Little Ones School offers an elementary school program that is based
in Sḵwx̱wú7mesh ways of learning and being. The quality of education reflects
and ex̱ presses our language and culture, which are inseparable in the teaching
and learning process.
Currently Junior Kindergarten to Grade 7 is offered.
Xwmélch’tstn Etsímxwawtxw is moving towards becoming a full Sḵwx̱wú7mesh
sníchim immersion school.

Sḵwx̱wú7mesh People United: The Significance of Amalgamation Day
On July 23rd, 1923, believing they were stronger together, 412 People represented by 16 headmen from about two dozen Sḵwx̱wú7mesh villages came together to form the modern-day Squamish Nation.
