Ta7lnew̓ás ensures Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw has integrative, effective, and streamlined collaborative processes to help our people meet their individual education goals.
The department supports each Squamish Person, both on and off reserve, in reaching their educational goals. The department works in partnership with school districts, post-secondary institutions, and other First Nations to advocate for programs and services related to education and training from private, provincial, and national sources.

More Sḵwx̱wú7mesh People will be able to once again call Sen̓áḵw home when Tower Two opens its doors to residents this fall.
Sḵwx̱wú7mesh People United: The Significance of Amalgamation Day
On July 23rd, 1923, believing they were stronger together, 412 People represented by 16 headmen from about two dozen Sḵwx̱wú7mesh villages came together to form the modern-day Squamish Nation.
