We’re proud to continue to take steps forward in returning our Squamish People back to Sen̓áḵw. While Sen̓áḵw is a village that welcomes all, housing Squamish People is our priority. As homes at Sen̓áḵw prepare to open this summer, Squamish People have three pathways to live in the village: Hiy̓ám̓ Housing, Affordable Homes and Market Homes.
Applications for Squamish People to live at Sen̓áḵw through Hiy̓ám̓ Housing, or through Affordable Homes remain open. The Market Homes pathway will open shortly.
Starting this month, April 12, applications will also open to other Indigenous Peoples.
Squamish People will be prioritized for the Affordable Homes units (more than 200 are available), followed by other Indigenous Peoples, then non-Indigenous people. Squamish People remain the first priority for all housing opportunities at Sen̓áḵw.
Inviting other Indigenous Peoples to Apply
We are inviting all Indigenous individuals and families who are interested in making Sen̓áḵw their home to submit an Expression of Interest Form, starting April 12.
Application Process
- If you have pre-registered at the Sen̓áḵw website, you will be receiving an email from Rennie Marketing asking you to fill out the Expression of Interest Form.
- If you haven’t had a chance to pre-register at Sen̓áḵw, but are interested in applying for homes at Sen̓áḵw, please complete an Expression of Interest Form
We encourage Squamish People and all Indigenous People to ensure they have completed the Expression of Interest Form so they can begin the application process. Once that form is complete, you will be contacted by Rennie Marketing with an application to live at Sen̓áḵw.
Here’s the steps:
- Complete the Expression of Interest Form.
- Fill in the Application provided by Rennie.
- Submit the application within five days of receiving it.

For Hiy̓ám̓ Housing Homes
Rental homes with assistance for Squamish Nation Members are managed by Hiy̓ám̓ Housing. The application process for Hiy̓ám̓ Housing Homes remains open. Applications are being accepted until Friday, April 10, 2026.
Applications after April 10, 2026 will go on a Sen̓áḵw Hiy̓ám̓ Housing waitlist.
