Our new Ha7lh sḵwalwnawtxw (Healthy Hub) re-opens

Ha7lh sḵwalwnawtxw (Healthy Hub) resumes all services

The Squamish Valley’s Ha7lh sḵwalwnawtxw (Healthy Hub) in Siyí7ch’em has fully re-opened after a temporary closure caused by a plumbing issue.

The Hub, located at 41139B Government Rd. in the Squamish Valley, officially opened last month with a ceremonial blessing. Our celebratory video (above) shows the blessing ceremony and the teams from Ayás Mén̓men (Child & Family Services) and Yúustway (Health & Wellness) sharing health services with Squamish People in Siyí7ch’em.

Services at the Hub include nurse practitioner and physician support, nursing services, counselling for all ages, access to traditional medicines, medical and social work support, and Family Circles.

Healthy Hub fills a vital role in Siyí7ch’em, as Sḵwx̱wú7mesh People will no longer have to travel to the District of Squamish or to the North Shore’s Care Clinic.

Health and Wellness staff from Ayás Mén̓men and Yúustway Health and Wellness are co-managing Healthy Hub and anticipate hiring more staff during the coming year, including more doctors, nurse practitioners, RNs, and Elders/Healers.

How to use the Healthy Hub

Healthy Hub is not a walk-in clinic. Patients need to register before booking an appointment.

Register by calling 604-898-6771 or email svclinic@squamish.net. You will need to provide your name, phone number or contact information, and personal health number (PHN). Staff at the Healthy Hub will support you through the process, even if you don’t have a PHN available.
