Passing of Late Chief Richard Williams
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Squamish Nation Leader, elected Councillor, Hereditary Chief Richard Williams – Xwélxwelacha-t Siy̓ám̓ (also known as Chief Dick Williams), born on February 25, 1948 and passed away on the morning of December 9, 2023.
Letter to Members | One-Time Special Payment
Nexwsxwníw̓ntm ta Úxwumixw has approved a one-time special payment of $1000 to each Member. This payment will be issued on December 7 and 8, 2023 along with the regular Distribution.
