As Indigenous People, we have faced a complexity of experiences that informed our grief process or halted it. In this workshop, we engage with critical information and education around grief and loss and facilitate self-awareness and empowerment toward healthy actions for personal healing.
Sgaalaanglaay, Gaamdaamaay (Vernon Williams Jr.) from Lumara Grief and Bereavement Care Society works in traditional teachings that have been passed down from wonderful mentors.
Workshop is for community members aged 18+. Food will be served.
