The Communications team supports the Nation’s Divisions by providing strategic communications advice on their projects and initiatives, and creating written and visual content to support objectives. As part of this work, the team implements the organization’s branding and manages official Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw platforms, including:
- website
- social media channels
- the Nation’s app
- Member email list
- digital asset management system
The Communications team also facilitates requests for media interviews or quotes from Nexwsxwníw̓ntm ta Úxwumixw (Council) Spokespersons.

ʔəy̓alməxʷ/Iy̓álmexw/Jericho Lands Official Plan Approved
Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), as part of the MST Partnership (Musqueam Indian Band, Squamish Nation and Tsleil-Waututh Nation) and Canada Lands Company (MST-CLC) is thrilled to share that late today, Vancouver City Council unanimously approved the ʔəy̓alməxʷ/Iy̓álmexw/Jericho Lands Official Development Plan.
