Nexwsyétsem amplifies the voices of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw to promote understanding, awareness, and dialogue. We do this by:
- facilitating dialogue between departments and Membership.
- protecting and promoting the reputation of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw.
- asserting the Nation’s rights and responsibilities to its lands and waters.
- reflecting history, culture, and language in everything we do.

More Sḵwx̱wú7mesh People will be able to once again call Sen̓áḵw home when Tower Two opens its doors to residents this fall.
Sḵwx̱wú7mesh People United: The Significance of Amalgamation Day
On July 23rd, 1923, believing they were stronger together, 412 People represented by 16 headmen from about two dozen Sḵwx̱wú7mesh villages came together to form the modern-day Squamish Nation.
