The Metro Vancouver issued an Air Quality Warning on August 5, remains in effect today August 6. The warning is for the entire Lower Fraser Valley, including Metro Vancouver. Air quality warnings are issued when air pollution levels are unhealthy. The smoke is coming from wildfires near Boston Bar and north of Cache Creek as well as the Vernon area fire.
