s7ulh wa nexwniw̓éyalh (Our Ways of Education) is a community-driven initiative to shape a Squamish Nation education system. It’s guided by feedback from community members, Elders, parents, youth and educators.
These sessions will update community on what we heard through engagement, next steps and how to get involved. All community members are invited to attend, including parents and Elders. A meal will be provided.
Online: Wednesday, August 12, 5 pm – 6 pm
Totem Hall: Thursday, August 13, 5:30 pm – 7:30pm
CJMC: Sunday, August 16, 12 pm-2 pm, Takaya Room
We are moving into the drafting phase of the law and will be asking community for feedback once the law has been drafted.
