Nexwsxwníw̓ntm ta Úxwumixw (Council) is pleased to invite you to the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 28 and 29.
The third People’s Assembly of the year is the Squamish Nation’s AGM, which means that there is more business to attend to. As such, the meeting is held over two days. Attend on both days to receive important information and cast your votes.
- Saturday, November 28 (10 am – 5 pm)
- Eligible Voters will vote on resolutions.
- Resolutions passed first at a People’s Assembly and then at an Annual General Meeting become official recommendations to Council. After the AGM, Council and staff will review these resolutions for any risks, then present the results to the Squamish People.
- Sunday, November 29 (10 am – 5 pm)
- Eligible Voters will vote on resolutions.
- Staff will present the Squamish Nation Audited Financial Statements for 2025/26.
- Learn about the Nation’s operations, finances, and see how well we met our goals.
Attend in person at Chief Joe Mathias Centre or Totem Hall, or join us online. A dinner will also be served in person at CJMC and Totem Hall after each meeting.

Resolutions
Want to create change? Submit a resolution. Contact staff at resolutions@squamish.net or 604‑980‑4553 for templates and support. The deadline to submit resolutions is October 14.
Door Prizes
Door prizes will be available. Members must attend the Assembly to be eligible and must be in attendance at the time of the raffle (CJMC, Totem Hall, or Online). Elected officials and People’s Assembly support staff are not eligible to win.
Transportation
Transportation will be available to and from CJMC and Totem Hall. A schedule will be released soon.
Childcare
To ensure that Members with young children are able to attend the assembly, childcare will be available at the in-person locations.
