Your voice guides how we govern
From now until August 31, we invite all Sḵwx̱wú7mesh People and Community Members to complete the Values Engagement Survey 2025 online.
The survey’s goal is to answer an important question: “Are administrative staff doing the work in accordance with the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw organizational values?”
Last year, Community input from the Values Survey 2024 told us we need:
- More cultural learning for staff
- Better follow-up and communication
- Support for Members living off-reserve
- Stronger public safety
- Greater inclusion of Knowledge Keepers and families
The Nation is acting on these recommendations—supporting staff with tools, teachings, and guidance to carry out their work in a more traditional and truly Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Way.
Your feedback is essential in helping the Nation track progress through our Values & Principles Index. Your answers will shape the 2025 Values Engagement Report, which will be presented to Council as part of T’élhkem (KPI+ Framework).
