Squamish Nation Wildfire Smoke Advisory
Wildfire smoke combined with humid conditions is currently causing poor air quality in our territory. This can pose health risks, especially for vulnerable community members.
We encourage everyone to check in on Elders, family, and neighbours who may need extra support. Children, and those living with asthma, heart disease, or lung conditions, are especially at risk.
The best way to stay safe is to reduce your exposure to smoke as much as possible.
