Please note: If you applied for and received funding for Cycle 2 in July 2022, you are not eligible to apply for this round. If you applied for and received funding for Cycle 1 in February 2022 your receipts MUST be submitted before you can apply for this round of funding.
This is per Section 4.5 (e) of the Sports & Recreation Grant Policy which states: Ineligible applications are: (e) Those submitted by the same group or individuals who received Sports Grants in the most recent call for applications.
Ensure you read the funding categories thoroughly and select the appropriate category for your sport and recreation activities/level.
If you are applying on behalf of a child (the applicant) please complete both the applicant and payee sections in full.
All sections of the form must be completed in order for your application to be processed.
Submit your application by February 24 at 4:30 pm in one of the following ways:

In the Squamish Valley: Grant applications be dropped off to Lindsay Hubley at Totem Hall or emailed to Lindsay_Hubley@squamish.net. Hard copies of the forms can also be requested through Lindsay.

Applications will be reviewed and scored by a review panel of Squamish Nation Members that possess a good understanding
of Squamish sport and recreation endeavors. The maximum funding amount is NOT guaranteed; funding is determined based on the amount of applications received and the information/details provided in your application. The panel will use good judgment to give fair support based on the information provided on the application and is authorized to deny funding to any application that does not meet the criteria.
Notification of the status of the application will be sent to applicant or parent/guardian the week of March 6, 2023.
