Get your freezers, coolers, and jars ready. There will be an Elders fish delivery on the afternoon of Thursday, August 14 on-reserve on the North Shore and Squamish Valley. This is an announcement for Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) Elders (65+) to get ready for fresh sockeye salmon.
Ts’its’ixwnítway (Member Services) will be organizing a delivery and pick-up of food and ceremonial sockeye salmon for our community. Please note, the number of fish that will be provided to each household will depend on the quantity caught by our fishermen.
