General Election: Online Voting Starts Today 

Members can start voting online today for the 2025 Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) General Election. The in-person voting day is September 28, 2025. 

Your vote, participation and representation will help shape the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) and our direction in the coming years. Each vote will contribute to determining our Councillors and Band Manager that represents our community. 

How to Vote  

There are several ways to vote in the General Election: 

Vote Online 

Opens September 15, 2025 at 9 am 

Closes September 28, 2025 at 9 pm

To vote online, submit your date of birth and status number. 

Vote In-person  

Sunday, September 28, 2025 

9 am – 9 pm  

Totem Hall & Chief Joe Mathias Centre 

Mail-in Ballot 

You must request your mail-in ballot by phone or email today (deadline is September 15). For mail in ballots, you can contact Sharleen Pike at 604-616-9489 or sharleen_pike@squamish.net 

Mail-in ballots must be received at the Squamish Nation (PO Box 86131 North Vancouver, BC V7L 4J5) or to Member Services (6-380 Welch St. West Vancouver, V7P 0A7) by September 26, 2025 at 4:30 pm. 

Another option, you can drop it off at Chief Joe Mathias Centre or Totem Hall on Voting Day, September 28, 2025.
