Fresh Sockeye Salmon Distribution
A FSC sockeye salmon distribution is scheduled for Thursday, August 14 and Saturday, August 16.
This is an announcement and final notice for all Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) Members.
Delivery on Reserves:
Ts’its’ixwnítway (Member Services) will begin delivery to everyone on reserve on August 14 starting at 10 am. Three delivery teams will be working on the North Shore and one team in Squamish.
There will be a second day for delivery on-reserve on the North Shore on Saturday, August 16 starting at 10 am. Each household can expect 10 fish.
Off-Reserve Pick-up
Thursday, August 14 between 1 – 6 pm at:
- Squamish: Totem Hall (1380 Stawamus Road, Squamish)
Saturday, August 16 between 10 am – 6 pm at:
- North Shore: Chief Joe Mathias Centre, South of the Playing Space (100 Capilano Road, West Vancouver)
If Members in the Squamish Valley did not receive their salmon, you can contact staff at Totem Hall on Monday.
Bring your totes, coolers, or bags, if you have them, when picking up.
