Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw and H&R Block are partnering to provide Members with personal tax preparation services for the 2021 year.
The service is available for all Members with simple tax returns (eg. no business income) and is free for Elders 55+, Income Assistance clients, and Members with 2021 income of $11,070 or less.
To use this service, Members can visit their nearest office (Main Office or Totem Hall) every Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm starting March 15, 2022. April 26 is the last day to drop off at Totem Hall and April 28 is the last day for the Main Office. Members must bring their tax slips and sign forms or else the return cannot be processed.
