Last year, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) canned a portion of the sockeye salmon catch and was able to obtain processed, flash frozen, commercially cold stored sockeye.
We are now ready to distribute.
Each Nation household will get five frozen beheaded, gutted and flash frozen sockeye salmon and two cases of 24 canned salmon.
North Shore:
On-reserve delivery: September 25 and 26 from 10 am – 4 pm
Off reserve pick up: Chief Joe Mathias Centre: Playing Place (far south parking lot), September 25 and 26 from 10 am – 4 pm
Squamish Valley:
On-reserve Delivery: September 25 from 10 am – 4 pm
Off reserve pick up: Totem Hall back entrance, September 25 from 10 am – 4 pm
