You are invited to join us for this year’s Amalgamation Day 2026 – iy̓ím ta Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish Strong). The event day will be a celebration of community – acknowledging the Nations’ success since amalgamating.
Following the event, join us for a movie on Xwmélch’sten (Capilano) field at dusk — starting around 9:15 pm.
Experience a day filled with great food, cultural experiences, storytelling, activities, and vendor booths. When the sun goes down, stay and enjoy a movie under the stars on Xwmélch’sten (Capilano) field. This is a family-friendly event that honours the traditions of sharing, giving, and being together as a community.
