The provincial election on Saturday, October 24 is an important day for the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) and its People and Communities, both on and off reserve. Voting ensures our voices are heard.
BC’s government makes policy decisions about the services that affect our daily life, including health care, education, housing, transportation, natural resource management, and child and family services. The Nation partners with the provincial government on a range of shared priorities and responsibilities. By voting for the candidate of your choice, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh perspectives can be considered in the decisions that shape our Community.
