Ayás Mén̓men (Child & Family Services) and Ts’its’ixwnítway (Member Services) will deliver the Nation’s traditional turkey dinner hampers to Squamish Nation families in the Squamish Valley today, (December 16).
For those living in Hiy̓ám̓ apartments there is an option of a turkey roast (due to limited storage and cooking space) rather than a full turkey.
Each hamper box this year will include a turkey, potatoes, carrots, stuffing, cranberries, gravy, — and Christmas morning breakfast items.
Currently, Nation staff do not have the option for a vegetarian or gluten-free hamper.
