Chén̓chenstway exists to provide employees with inclusivity, equity, and support in their roles while acknowledging and practicing the traditions and values of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw.
We support employees through their career development, from beginning to end. In addition, we support the rest of the departments so that the Nation can use its human resources efficiently to help reach its goals effectively.
The philosophy of Chén̓chenstway is to ensure all candidates meet their full employment potential.
Chén̓chenstway could be interpreted as ‘upholding one another’. It refers to the role the department plays to uphold our staff by supporting them, but also refers to the department’s role of upholding the Nation.
