At Sen̓áḵw Operations, the goal is to support the success of the Sen̓áḵw development, ensuring financial success and promoting affordable housing for the Nation and the return of the Squamish People to Sen̓áḵw. Their approach focuses on collaborating, respecting and preserving the Nation’s rich cultural heritage, and actively promoting prosperity within the community. As a department, they represent the Nation in a wide range of critical areas, including Nch’ḵay̓ West partnership committees, community planning, event coordination, engagement initiatives, and overall project governance and compliance. Their commitment is to ensure that the voice and interests of the Squamish Nation are front and center throughout every aspect of the development.
Ta na wa Ch’áwat ta Sen̓áḵw can be translated as ‘the ones who help Sen̓áḵw’.

Approval given for Second Floatel in Squamish
Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw Council approved the second floatel following a review process under the Squamish National Environmental Assessment Agreement (SNEAA) -- the first Indigenous-led environmental assessment of its kind.
Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw now has, officially, more than 173 dogs

Ayás Mén̓men (Child & Family Services) is planning events in November to honour our families, create space for connection, and spend time together in fun and healthy ways. There will be events hosted in North Vancouver and Squamish Valley.
