How To Guide

As our Nation continues to grow, we want to ensure that events, news, and other updates can be accessed quickly and easily by our Members. We are pleased to announce that we have launched an app to support our existing website and social media channels!

The app is easy to download and the Nation can send push notifications when important posts are published. You will be able to add events directly into your personal calendar, read Members only documents, and much more.

Download Instructions

  1. Go to your app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) and search “Squamish Nation Members App”.
  2. Tap “Register” under “Member Login”.
  3. Fill out your information and press “Register”.
  4. Click the verification link sent to your email inbox.
  5. If you are a Member, please remember to fill out the “Member Exclusive Content Form”. Once we have verified your account, this will give you access to confidential Nation updates and documents.

Anyone can use the app, however Members will have access to confidential Nation updates and documents after they fill out the “Member Exclusive Content Form”.

Since the app is a separate platform from the website and isn’t connected, Members will need to register for a new account with the app and cannot use their squamish.net login.

Approval given for Second Floatel in Squamish

Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw Council approved the second floatel following a review process under the Squamish National Environmental Assessment Agreement (SNEAA) -- the first Indigenous-led environmental assessment of its kind.

We are unveiling The Valley’s Plan next month, a first of its kind in the Squamish Valley. It gathers all plans (past, present, future) and clearly explains what we would like to accomplish in the Squamish Valley over the next 10 years.
