Your voice can help shape the future of disability supports in our community.
Squamish Nation is conducting a Disabilities Review Survey to better understand the experiences, needs, and priorities of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Stélmexw (Squamish Peoples) living with disabilities, as well as their families and caregivers.
We are inviting feedback from:
- Squamish people living with a physical or cognitive disability
- Elders requiring short-term assistance
- Family members or caregivers of someone living with a disability
Why your feedback matters
Whether you are currently accessing services or have faced challenges finding the supports you or your family need, your experience is important.
The survey asks about access to services, unmet needs, challenges navigating supports, and priorities for future disability-related services. Your feedback will help identify gaps, barriers, and opportunities to better support individuals and families living with disabilities.
The findings will help inform a Squamish Nation Disabilities Action Plan and guide future service planning and improvements across Nation departments.
The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and closes August 31, 2026.
All responses are confidential and will be reviewed by an independent surveyor. Results will be summarized anonymously to protect participants’ privacy.
