We invite children to join us for summer culture days, to get out on the land, play games, and practice some Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Sníchim. Ta na wa Ns7éyx̱nitm ta Snew̓íyelh will lead summer fun activities rooted in culture. m̓i cháyap kwis itim̓úsem na7 ta temíxw-cht come along to look around our land.
What:
Berry picking, sníchim games on the land, craft-making
When:
Ages 6-9 — Aug 18 (Tues) 10am-4pm
Ages 10-12 — Aug 26 (Wed), 10am-4pm
Where:
100b Capilano Road, Ta Tsíptspi7lhḵn (Language Nest)
Participants will need to be dropped off and picked up.
To register: Itim̓úsem registration
12 children per age group. Participants will need to bring their own lunches.
Snacks and drinks will be provided.
