We hope you plan to attend this year’s Amalgamation Day – iy̓ím ta Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish Strong). Wear your best regalia, cedar hats, headbands, ribbon skirt, etc. in celebration of Community – acknowledging the Nations’ success since amalgamating 102 years ago.

Enjoy a day filled with delicious food, rich cultural experiences, storytelling, live music and vendor booths – plus fun activities happening in the new Ḵw’eshḵw’shétsutay̓ (Playing Place).
After the main event, stay for a movie under the stars on the field – a perfect way to end a day of connection and celebration. This family friendly event honours our cherished traditions of sharing, giving, and coming together as a community.
With the summer heat, don’t forget to bring your water bottles – we’ll have refill stations ready for you.
Parking Information
Elders parking is available on the north and west sides of the lacrosse box, as well as along Capilano Road south of the Spirit Trail. All other parking can be found on the south side of the lacrosse box and at Capilano Little Ones School.
