Nexwsxwníw̓ntm ta Úxwumixw (Council) is pleased to invite you to the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 15 & 16.
The third People’s Assembly of the year is the Squamish Nation’s AGM, which means that there is more business to attend to. As such, the meeting is held over two days. Attend on both days to receive important information and cast your votes.
Saturday, November 15 (10:00 am – 5:00 pm)
- Eligible Voters will vote on resolutions.
- Resolutions passed first at a People’s Assembly and then at an Annual General Meeting become official recommendations to Council. After the AGM, Council and staff will review these resolutions for any risks, then present the results to the Squamish People.
Sunday, November 16 (10:00 am – 5:00 pm)
- Eligible Voters will vote on resolutions.
- Staff will present the Squamish Nation Audited Financial Statements for 2024/25.
- Learn about the Nation’s operations, finances, and see how well we met our goals.
