We are slowly coming together again for events and gatherings, after these past two years of COVID-19 restrictions. We hope that you will join us for cultural work, wellness, and healing the week leading up to Amalgamation Day, July 18 to 23. All Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw Members are welcome to attend the Wellness & Healing Events and Amalgamation Day.
Our legends and stories describe events or situations that we have overcome; it is the struggle that helps us come together and make it through. As a Nation, we support and care for each other. The wellness and healing week is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate this: Ha7lh stélmexw kwelh tiná7 chet (We come from good people).

Skweni’lich (Cultural Work)

Skweni’lich (sacred cultural work) will be held for our Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw community on July 18 and 20. We are slowly coming together again for events and gatherings, after these past two years of COVID-19 restrictions. Join us for cultural work, wellness, and healing the week leading up to Amalgamation Day.
Please arrive early, as the work will begin at 5:00 pm. Dinner will be served after the work is completed (approximately 6:30 pm).

Wellness & Healing Days

We invite our Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw community to attend the Wellness & Healing Days on July 19 and 21. There will be healer practitioners, drumming & singing, food trucks, and more.
Please note, we strongly encourage Members to wear masks inside our facilities and you may be required to wear a mask to receive some services on July 19 and 21. These services may include massage and cultural activities, etc.
