Virtual Blessing

Ha7lh Skwáyel dearest respected Elders, loved ones and relatives,

This virtual blessing is a ceremonial blanket to wrap you in love. Sending you each a message of love, care, and kindness we have for one another.

It is a celebration of who we are as Squamish people.

Our ancestral wisdom of healing and self-care is shared with each of you to lift up your spirits during these times of isolation and to keep you all safe until we can gather together again in feast and song.

Healing hands and blessings are offered out to each and every one of you today and always.

“Love is something you and I must have. We must have it because our spirit feeds upon it. We must have it because without it we become weak and faint. Without love our self-esteem weakens. Without it our courage fails. Without love we can no longer look out confidently at the world.”
– Chief Dan George
