There is an open call request for proposals to Squamish Nation artists for public art at Park Royal. The intention is to celebrate and recognize Squamish Nation arts and culture.

Park Royal in partnership with Squamish Nation are seeking Squamish Nation artists or artist teams for two public art opportunities.

Public Art Opportunities
Opportunity 1:
A multi-site opportunity with 3 sites to be included in proposals and ideas presented in application. There is a total budget of $140,000 inclusive of fees and fabrication costs. Artists are encouraged to apply with collectives or within teams to approach this opportunity.

Opportunity 2:
A graphic installation for the spiral parking structure ramp and two pedestrian crosswalk markings. This site provides an excellent opportunity for emerging artists to participate in the public art for Park Royal. This opportunity will afford an honorarium the selected artist, and all fabrication costs will be covered by Park Royal.
Honorarium: $10,000
This public art call has been prepared to solicit responses from Squamish Nation artists to develop a short proposal for one or both opportunities.
Artists interested in applying must submit a digital copy application only.
