In addition to this notice and building on the foundation of the Protocol Agreement, Chiefs and Council are pleased to announce that the first steps in acquiring a significant property from the Province of British Columbia are complete. The property will be owned by an equal partnership between the three Nations and a development partner.
- The Liquor Distribution Branch Warehouse, located at 3200 East Broadway, Vancouver. A 9.21 acre parcel owned in partnership with the Musqueam and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, and a development partner.
The acquisition of this property is a significant step for our Nation. Under the direction and guidance of leadership this investment represents opportunities for generations to come.
