Nation Members with a valid Personal Acquisition License (PAL) can enter the 2023 draw for elk hunt tags from Monday, June 26 at 9:00 am to Wednesday, July 26 at 4:00 pm. The draw will take place August 1, 2023 at 1:00 pm on Facebook.
Draw Rules:
Elk tags are for eligible Squamish Nation Members with a valid Personal Acquisition License (PAL) and are non-transferable. Each tag is allocated for specific Hunting Zones where safety and non-shooting areas must be respected at all times. Poaching continues to be a problem; we are all responsible to co-manage our elk populations in our homelands. All hunters must comply with Compulsory Inspection of harvested elk and failure to do so will result in ineligibility for future Squamish Nation Elk Draws.
