The Squamish Nation Electoral Commission would like to provide official notice that a General Election will be held on September 26, 2021. We look forward to sharing more information about the election in the coming weeks.
All Squamish Nation members who are at least 18 years of age on September 26, 2021 are eligible to vote in the election. This includes members who live both in community and away from community (on- and off-reserve).
All candidate meetings will be held on:
September 8, 2021 at 6:00PM at Totem Hall
September 9, 2021 at 6:00PM at the Chief Joe Mathias Centre

Eligible voters will be mailed voting materials and a voting information package at least 30 days before the General Election Voting Day. A voters list will be posted at least 60 days before the general voting day at the Squamish Nation administrative office, Chief Joe Mathias Centre, Totem Hall, and on the official Squamish Nation website.
If you are an eligible voter as defined in the Law and your name does not appear on the voters list, you may request a correction by contacting the Chief Voting Officer at 604-982-7610.
