DESCRIPTION:Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) Squamish youth are invited to join Yúustway (Health & Wellness) for the Nexwniŵéyalh (to teach) Youth Mentorship Program to learn from Elders Mary Jane Natrall and Donna Billy. \nParticipants will learn about traditional protocol and practices\, engage in workshops\, and take part in land-based healing activities. Attendees will share a meal together\, get brushed off every week\, and also receive paid volunteer opportunities. \n\nEvery Friday\, January 16 – March 27 | 4:15 pm – 7:15 pm | Totem Hall Elder’s Lounge\n\nNo registration required.
