DESCRIPTION:Nexwsxwníw̓ntm ta Úxwumixw (Council) is pleased to invite you to the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 28 and 29. \nThe third People’s Assembly of the year is the Squamish Nation’s AGM\, which means that there is more business to attend to. As such\, the meeting is held over two days. Attend on both days to receive important information and cast your votes. \nSaturday\, November 28 (10 am – 5 pm) \n\nEligible Voters will vote on resolutions.\nResolutions passed first at a People’s Assembly and then at an Annual General Meeting become official recommendations to Council. After the AGM\, Council and staff will review these resolutions for any risks\, then present the results to the Squamish People.\n\nSunday\, November 29 (10 am – 5 pm) \n\nEligible Voters will vote on resolutions.\nStaff will present the Squamish Nation Audited Financial Statements for 2025/26.\nLearn about the Nation’s operations\, finances\, and see how well we met our goals.\n\nAttend in person at Chief Joe Mathias Centre or Totem Hall\, or join us online. \nMore details\, including a proposed agenda\, are available at squamish.net/peoples-assembly
