SUMMARY:Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw Youth Advisory Council Movie/Pizza Night
DESCRIPTION:The Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) is hosting a movie and pizza night for the recruitment of new Youth Advisory Council members. It takes place May 7 from 5-8pm at Chief Joe Mathias Centre. \nThe Council is looking specifically for Squamish youth (ages 16–26) with lived experience in foster care or unstable home environments. \nThe session is a casual way for youth to learn how they can help improve local services.
