DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us for this year’s Amalgamation Day 2026 – iy̓ím ta Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish Strong). The event day will be a celebration of community – acknowledging the Nations’ success since amalgamating.  \nFollowing the event\, join us for a movie on Xwmélch’sten (Capilano) field at dusk — starting around 9:15 pm. \nExperience a day filled with great food\, cultural experiences\, storytelling\, activities\, and vendor booths. When the sun goes down\, stay and enjoy a movie under the stars on Xwmélch’sten (Capilano) field. This is a family-friendly event that honours the traditions of sharing\, giving\, and being together as a community.  \nWe are excited to share this day with our community and look forward to seeing you all there.
