Nch’ḵay̓ Small Business Registry and Funding Opportunities 2022

Nch’ḵay̓ Development Corporation is updating its Squamish Nation Member owned Business Registry for 2022. The Business Registry is available for partners and Squamish Nation entities, as well as the general public, to encourage the support and use of Member owned business whenever possible.

Nation Members need to apply each year to keep their listing up to date and to be eligible for grants/funding. Whether you are a new applicant or were featured in the 2021 Business Registry, apply today using the form below. The deadline has been extended to March 4, 2022

Benefits of being on the Nch’ḵay̓ Business Registry 

  • Business opportunities – Nation partners are encouraged to hire from within the community 
  • Free marketing – the Business Registry is distributed to the community, partners, and Nation entities 
  • Grant eligibility – businesses must be on the Registry to apply for grants (see more information below) 
  • Access and opportunities – exposure to additional funding and business opportunities

Mini grants are intended to support existing Member owned businesses who are currently on, or applying for, the Business Registry. Preference will be given to businesses who were not previously funded in the last two years. Funding ranges from $250 to $500.

Indigenous Community Business Fund (ICBF) Indigenous Services Canada Stream 1 Funding seeks to address gaps not covered by other business support measures. It is intended to mitigate financial pressures during the pandemic and strengthen businesses for recovery.
