Maureen Thomas

Maureen Thomas is responsible for providing administrative support for the Squamish Nation Trustees. Her many roles include management of Trust documents, coordination of Trustee meetings and overseeing the redesign of the records management system from paper to electronic files

Maureen is a member of the Coast Salish Community and has worked for First Nation Communities for over three decades. Maureen is a member of Tsleil-Waututh Nation and had the opportunity to serve as Chief of her community for 2 years. As well, Maureen worked with the late Chief Joe Mathias at Squamish Nation for 28 years, gaining valuable experience in working both at Squamish Nation and at the Regional and National levels.
