Department Description

Eslha7an opened in 1994 as a positive and caring Learning Centre for students over the age of 16.

Services

Youth classes provide an opportunity for youth to receive their Grade 12, Dogwood Diploma. Adult classes allow adults to complete their GED.

Mission Statement

Eslha7an offers opportunities for our First Nation community to balance aspects of our lives following the traditional medicine wheel through a holistic approach. We offer life long learning using cultural experiences in a safe and respectful environment.

Partnerships

Eslha7an works in cooperation with School District 44, North Shore Continuing Education and Stitsma Employment Centre. In 2005 Eslha7an was accredited as a Life Long Learning Centre by the Private Careers Training Institute Agency. Eslha7an’s programs have been evaluated and acknowledged for quality assurance.
