Siyamin Stamsh Canoe Family
Mission Statement: We are the Siyamin Stamsh Canoe Family; celebrating our accomplishments and responsibility through unity and equality with our traditions as Skwxwú7mesh-ulh stelmexw.
We are a canoe family that consists of 2 canoes, carved, created and built by Ray Natraoro (formerly Natrall). Our current family of 44 members ages 1-60 years consists of elders, speakers, singers, carvers, artists, weavers, language speakers and dancers.
We have been preparing ourselves mind, body and spirit. We travel the waters, (our Ancestors Highways) to attend Tribal Journeys and other gatherings/events. To live the ways of our ancestors, to honor ourselves, our culture and to raise the pride of our Nation.
